Molesworth 4WD tours travel in convoy, joined by two-way radio, with your guide Geoff bringing every landscape to life with a different story, history or remarkable detail.
The 4WD tours are a combination of heart-stopping 4WD adventure, plenty of good kiwi-yarns and endless photo opportunities of incredible high-country landscapes.
YOUR ITINERARY
Begin the 4WD tour in the vineyards of Awatere valley, before heading into Molesworth Station's rolling hills with golden tussock, braided rivers winding through valleys and into craggy mountain ranges - the 4WD Tours are guaranteed to deliver awe-inspiring scenes.
Stopping by remote, high-country farms and meeting farming families are a highlight, and will open your eyes to the genuine, high-country lifestyle.
Taking on the high-country terrain is a unique adventure and opportunity to view the landscape from off the beaten track private farm vantage points, meet the people and hear their stories for an experience which will leave you awe-struck and inspired for years to come.
Bring your own 4WD to explore two historic Marlborough stations & barge to D’Urville Island on this 4WD adventure. Stay on a station for two nights to drive on farm tracks, see their historic musterers huts & catch fish on D'Urville Island
Bring your own 4WD or if you are from overseas or don't own a four wheel drive of your own, you can still join this tour - refer to "Lead Vehicle Tour" option
As a passenger in the lead vehicle you can enjoy being driven in convoy style on private farms as well as Molesworth and Rainbow Stations in the beautiful Marlborough high country, in exchange for assisting our guide with small tasks.
