High Country Station Overnight Experience
This tour accommodation option is a unique twist to our classic Three and Four Day Heritage tours and is only available to groups of four people-(two couples or one couple and two singles).
Enjoy being entertained by John and Juliet who have farmed in the Awatere Valley high country for over fifty years. Their beautiful home and purpose built guest accommodation offer amazing views over the Awatere River, vineyards and surrounding hill and mountain landscape.
Still involved in high country land management they can tell you many a story of high country life over a specially prepared meal, enjoying tasting wines grown in the soils you can see from the dinning room window. After a good nights sleep and breakfast you will enjoy carrying on with your tour through Molesworth to Hanmer Springs.
